Back Cover Photos

One of my possible back cover photos

This is one of the photos that I am looking at as the photo for the back cover of my book:  “Allergic to Life:  My Battle for Survival, Courage, and Hope”.  I am thankful that my daughter’s boyfriend is an excellent photographer and editor. I may try to post more in the next few days.  I am getting so much closer to finally submitting everything.  I still need to get the cover photo done (and we are working on a design idea) and two inserts from my daughters.  The final reread is happening now.  The whole book as been printed in book format and I have started going through it for what I hope is the final time.

  1. Kathy, I am so happy for you. Can’t wait for your book to come out. Did you believe 10 years ago when we sat talking in the safe apts. in Dallas that we’d both have books out in 2012? Amazing!

    • No I sure didn’t. We were just struggling to survive and sitting at your table with a catalog trying to find clothes and shoes we could safely wear. We did survive and have found our voices to tell our stories. 2012 is an amazing year indeed!

Once again I want to tell everyone about Jennie’s amazing story. Her book, “Intentional Healing: One Woman’s Path to Higher Consciousness and Freedom from Environmental and Other Chronic Illnesses”, is available at Amazon. There is a link to her website on the side of my blog.

  2. Thanks for the link, will check out Jennie’s book. Will yours come out as an ebook too? I am tired of buying books and airing them first; it takes so long! Can’t wait to see it!

    • I think you will really like Jennie’s book. My book will be available in hardback, paper, and as an ebook as well. I am working hard at getting it ready. Because I have been actually writing it since 2003, I am becoming impatient to get it to press. Since we are now in the middle of July, the fall is looking like a more realistic deadline.

How long do you have to air out your books? Do you find that hardback is easier to air out than paperback? Is it the ink that bothers you? Maybe this should be a topic of discussion on one of my posts.

  3. Congratulations to both of you ladies….I am looking forward to reading both books!

  5. Thank you Miche. I am hoping to have a cover photo designed by the end of September and am hoping for submission to the publisher by the first part of October. From there I will have a timeline of when it will possibly be ready for purchase.
