37 and Counting

I am not sure how many of you have seen the television show 16 and counting.  The family is dedicated to have as many children as God will give them.

Well for my husband and I, it is 37 years and counting.  We were married 37 years ago today on a cool rainy day.  I remember thinking how upset I was that it was raining.  Then someone told us that rain on your wedding day meant good luck.  It must have because here we are 37 years later, still married.

To my loving husband, thank you for 37 wonderful years and for your courage to stick by me through many years of illness and sensitivities.  Thank you for building me this safe house and for taking care of me.

  1. Kathy:

It is so important to have a supportive spouse while battling the ups and downs of MCS and EMF. I, too, have a loving and supportive husband who helped me greatly during my journey through these illnesses, but other people I’ve met are not as lucky.

Here’s to you and your loving husband on your special day.

    Happy 37th and many more!

    • Thank you Jennie. I, as have you, been truly blessed with a husband who has bent over backwards and changed so many things in his life to keep me safe. I have heard many stories that are not so happy. I am thankful everyday for my blessings.

  2. Happy Happy Happy Anniversary to you Kathern & your Hubby!!!!

  3. Happy Anniversary Kathryn and the Husband. 37 years is testament to your love for each other, so perhaps what fate took from your health it returned in your marriage.
