Okay, Okay, I know I am officially on vacation. But when I got home from picking my daughter up I received a phone call to see if I had received an email from the publisher. Yes, I had.
My book proof was in the email! I have just downloaded it to my Kindle Fire so that I can read it when I have time while my daughter is here and at the same time highlight any errors or changes that need to be made.
Wow, I cannot believe it! To see copyright info, ISBN numbers, etc. is amazing. It is like okay, now what have I done!

I am sitting here checking my emails while my daughters are having sister time. I thought I would tackle working on the proof today but it isn’t happening. I had an ocular migraine yesterday, was up too late with the girls followed by not being able to fall asleep until after 2:00 this morning and then getting up at 6:00 because they had to leave at 6:30. Feeling a little comatose.
Yeah. Unwind on vacation, so you’ll have energy for the next step.
Vacations are sometimes more exhausting than not taking a vacation. (Emails keep coming into the inbox of both my personal and website email and I am going to be so behind.)
